The Birkdale Paediatric & Adult Neuro Centre, is a West London based clinic which has been successfully treating patients with neurological disorders for the past 30 years.

The Birkdale Clinic provides specialist neurological physiotherapy for children and adults of all ages. We have years of experience in treating a large range of neurological conditions which include: Global Developmental Delay, Down’s Syndrome, Multiple Sclerosis, Parkinson’s disease, Stroke, Transverse Myelitis and vestibular disorders. We provide specialist assessments for adults and children. Based on our findings in the assessment, and after discussions with the patient and their family, a course of treatment is organised. Treatment plans are regularly reviewed and always discussed fully with the client.

To maximise our clients’ rehabilitation, we are equipped with a number of specialist devices to supplement our physiotherapy treatment programmes. These include: Functional Electrical Stimulation (FES) devices: the STIWELL, and the dual-channel drop foot device: the MyGait and Tobii Eye Gaze technology.

We also work alongside professionals from various complementary fields (speech-language therapists, art therapists, neuropsychologists, orthotists, NLP practitioners, shiatsu practitioners, hypnotherapists, and play therapists) to offer our patients an all-encompassing service.

I’ve been having physiotherapy at the centre due to Bell’s Palsy and I was impressed with everything from the moment I first contacted to the last session. The staff are very friendly, helpful, extremely thoughtful and attentive to my needs.
