New Nike Trainers

Ok so its not the normal type of article we would right but we just had to share this amazing invention and news from Nike who have launched a new range of trainer called the Nike FLYEASE. Watch the video to learn about the story but it started off with one of the first employees of Nike suffering a stroke and contacting Nike who once learned of his disabilities created a shoe he could easily put on by himself. “For college sophomore Matthew Walzer, simply putting on his shoes was an impossible task. Lacking the dexterity to get his foot...

Amazing New Wheelchair

We found this amazing wheelchair on social media and just had to share it. It was developed by a team of 10 young medical students at the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology (ETH) in Zürich, they are building it to compete in ETH’s CYBATHLON Championship for Pilots with Disabilities. It an amazing achievement to create a wheelchair that can climb stairs, it will have huge benefits to many around the world to so many people who need a wheelchair to get around each day. We especially liked the rise feature at the end of the video. If you would like to know more about...

It also refers to the ability to accurately perceive objects in space with reference to other objects”.   These are the difficulties of the vision in neurological patients:   Visual Discrimination Visual Closure Object...

The thought purpose is critical in planning and organisation of movements.  As a neuro physiotherapist I believe the use of language is critical whether the purpose is to motivate the person or to enable them to process and understand and move.  The process of planning is affected after any neurological disorder.  The patient can no longer think and plan as the part of the brain that does this is affected.   It is...
